It is necessary to rely on skill innovation for industrial development. The reporter learned that the "Development and Industrialization of Key Skills for Energy saving and New Energy Bus" project has undergone ten years of skill research and development, forming multiple key skill innovations, completing the development of pure electric, plug-in, and hybrid power channels, and completing the series of 6 * * 18 meter energy-saving and new energy bus products. Among them, the vehicle's energy-saving and handling skills, high-voltage barrier power supply replacement skills, high-density electric drive handling skills, and other aspects are at the forefront of the international market. This project has been authorized for 23 inventions, 142 utility models, 14 software copyrights, 23 published papers, and 4 composition and professional standards.
At that time, the focus skill of new energy cars was the innovation of battery technology. According to the project leader, in this Yutong project, the integrated handling skills for power batteries were proposed, including the acceleration test method for power battery capacity decay and the data-driven estimation method for battery state of charge (SoC). Through batch inspection, the average driving distance can be extended by 4%.
Together, we have also developed a battery box structure with insulation, heat dissipation, and moisture resistance functions, as well as a comprehensive heat treatment system. We have also developed a power battery box that meets the IP67 protection level, addressing the challenges of water safety and adaptability to high-altitude areas. In addition, Yutong has also made significant breakthroughs in efficient power systems, vehicle handling, and energy-saving skills, forming a form of energy conservation and emission reduction through electrification and intelligence.
In the process of industrializing new energy vehicles, China has faced various challenges such as relying on imported key components, low integration, high costs, short lifespan of power battery systems, poor environmental adaptability, low energy utilization efficiency of the entire vehicle, and short driving range. Wan Xinming, Vice President of China Car Engineering Research Institute, stated that this project has broken the three major skill problems that have long restricted the development of energy-saving and new energy buses, and is conducive to the large-scale promotion and application of pure electric, plug-in, and hybrid buses.
