Basic Operating Procedures
1. Pre-operation Preparation: Operators must hold a nationally recognized “Special Equipment Operator Certificate.” Before beginning work, conduct a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle to confirm that the hydraulic system, electrical system, outriggers, and work platform are free of damage or jamming, and that safety devices are functioning properly; Assess the work environment to ensure wind speeds do not exceed Force 6 and the ground is level and firm; lay steel plates or sleepers on soft ground. Set up warning tape around the work area and assign a ground supervisor to monitor the site. Park the vehicle in a stable position, apply the parking brake, turn on the warning lights, and perform an empty-load test to verify that lifting and rotating functions operate normally.

2. Commence Operation: Activate work mode from the cab or via the remote control. First, slowly extend the outriggers, adjust their height to ensure the vehicle is level (both lateral and longitudinal tilt ≤ 1°), and lock them in place. Then, activate the hydraulic lifting system and slowly adjust the work platform’s height and angle. For boom-type models, operate the rotation smoothly; sharp turns are prohibited.

3. Monitoring During Operation: Operators must wear full-body safety harnesses, securing them at a high point and using them at a low point; tools must be secured with lanyards. Continuously monitor the stability of the work platform, avoid overloading or uneven loading, and adjust the platform position as needed. Maintain a safe distance from high-voltage lines and obstacles; a ground supervisor must provide simultaneous visual monitoring and warnings. If unusual noises, vibrations, or hydraulic system malfunctions occur, stop the machine immediately for inspection.

4. End of Operation: First, slowly lower the work platform to its lowest position and retract the telescoping boom (for boom-type models). Then, retract the outriggers according to specifications, return the control levers to their neutral positions, and exit the operating mode. Clear all tools and debris from the work platform and inspect the equipment for any abnormalities. 5. Routine Maintenance: Regularly check the levels of hydraulic fluid and lubricating oil; top up or replace aged fluids, and clear debris from hydraulic lines; inspect the wear and sealing condition of outriggers, telescoping booms, and rotating mechanisms, and promptly repair or replace wear-prone parts; regularly inspect safety devices to ensure they are responsive and effective; perform anti-corrosion and dust-proofing treatments on the vehicle; store the vehicle properly when not in use for extended periods.

 

Safety and Maintenance Guidelines
Strictly control vehicle speed during operation; avoid sudden braking and sharp turns. Place prominent warning signs in the work area and prohibit unauthorized personnel and vehicles from entering. Overloading and off-center loading are strictly prohibited; strictly adhere to rated load requirements, and ensure the total weight of personnel and tools on the work platform is evenly distributed. Outdoor operations are strictly prohibited in adverse weather conditions such as wind speeds exceeding Force 6, rain, snow, heavy fog, or lightning to avoid risks associated with working at heights; During operation, do not arbitrarily adjust the position of the outriggers, and do not climb or throw objects from the work platform; if abnormal pressure or leaks occur in the hydraulic system, stop the machine immediately for inspection; do not force the machine to operate under such conditions; perform regular comprehensive inspections of the vehicle, focusing on the outrigger locking mechanisms, hydraulic lines, and safety limit switches, and promptly address any faults; operators must be familiar with the equipment operating procedures, participate in regular safety training, and strictly avoid operating the equipment in violation of regulations; When the equipment is not in use for an extended period, lower the work platform to its lowest position, retract the outriggers, remove debris from the equipment surface, apply anti-corrosion and dust-proofing treatments, and store it in a dry, well-ventilated area to prevent rust.
